At one time, sugar babies was a negative term that the media never discussed. When they did, it was always in a negative light. Fast forward to the present, the media is constantly reporting on some component of the sugar baby lifestyle. Before, it use to be about these sugar daddies getting this younger girls. Being 2017, we live in a feminist society now more than ever. As a result, the media has been spinning sugar babies in a more positive light. Don’t get me wrong, it will never be all positive for sugar babies. At least, we are given a chance to be looked at in a different way.
For instance, are you a fan of the show Billions on Showtime? In a recent episode, you see financial domination of a powerful distract attorney with a woman that controls him in every which way. The power shift, the sexuality shift, is uncanny. Never would the media or a television show get this filmed properly. Add in terminology such as tributes, you start seeing more and more men & women exploring this lifestyle. The component I love best is this district attorney, played by Paul Giamatti brilliantly I might add, has to get permission from his wife. The interplay of couples using allowable open lifestyles is precisely the type of arrangements that are getting ever so popular.
On the surface, you would never associate this to a sugar baby. Thing is, being a sugar baby is forming an arrangement where both sides are getting what they want. This loose interpretation allows the boundaries to be endless. So if you consider yourself a sugar baby but never looked at this side of the lifestyle, take a deeper look. You’ll be surprised how rewarding it can be, in more ways that one!
